1. Introduction

General Product Description

The Print Queue Module is a solution designed to meet the needs of print service providers and their clients. This module centralizes the management of print queues, allowing providers to install, configure, and monitor queues remotely. Additionally, it updates drivers and maintains an efficient and secure printing environment, reducing the need for on-site interventions.

Project Objective (UX)

The goal of the project was to create an intuitive and accessible interface for managing print queues, enabling providers and clients to configure, update, and monitor printers without advanced technical knowledge. This module aims to reduce technical visits and increase customer autonomy.

2. Business Problem and Solution

Identified Problem

Print queue management is currently done on-site, and the dependency on Silverlight within Internet Explorer creates inefficiencies and compatibility issues. Service providers face challenges in managing queues remotely, leading to high costs for on-site technical visits, wasted time, and a negative impact on user experience.

Solution

Develop a centralized management platform accessible from any browser. With the updated module, providers will be able to manage queues remotely, simplifying printer configuration for end users and reducing operational costs.
